According to Sky Sport Italia, Antonio Conte is close to becoming Inter Milan head coach from next season.

Conte has been a subject of interest from Juventus, Inter and Roma, as Massimiliano Allegri, Luciano Spalletti and Claudio Ranieri all face an uncertain future at the end of the season.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte already ruled out the Roma option, meaning that his chances of returning to his old club Juventus maintain very high.

Sky Sport Italia, however, reports that Conte is close to agreeing a deal with Inter to replace the under fire Spalletti.

Conte left Chelsea last summer, having guided them to one Premier League title and one FA Cup trophy. The Blues finished fifth in the Premier League, missing out on Champions League spot for this season.
