After a long summer break where he has considered his future, Cristo Gonzalez has decided to leave Real Madrid and join Serie A club Udinese in a 1.5 million euro deal.
The fee seems low, but it allows the Spanish club to include a buy-back clause and a sell-on fee.
Cristo stood out for Castilla last season as he scored 22 goals, 21 with the B team and then one for the Real Madrid first team on his debut against UD Melilla in the Copa del Rey.
Many Spanish sides were interested, including Leganes, Granada, Espanyol, Real Valladolid and Levante, but Udinese's offer was the most convincing.
He will fly to Italy on Tuesday for a medical and to sign his contract ahead of his presentation to the fans, as well as to meet his new coach, ex-Juventus player Igor Tudor.

By the way, good business by Madrid with this player. Christ currently has no place in Madrid and if he looks in Italy scoring many goals Madrid could buy it back.

Well, it was a good bet for Madrid's forward quarter, if we had started Lucas Vázquez, Asensio and others

I think Christ is wrong to go to Italian football, this guy is very technical, but very slow and there the markings are strong, so I feel it will not succeed, but good luck for the world.
