Croatian national team head coach Zlatko Dalic has urged Ante Rebic and AC Milan target Ivan Rakitic to find new clubs in January.
Rebic arrived on deadline day on a two-year loan deal from Eintracht Frankfurt side after the Rossoneri had spent most of the summer chasing Atletico Madrid's Angel Correa.
Despite this, the winger has played just 177 minutes of Serie A action since his arrival, with a change in manager not doing his fortunes any good.
This led to suggestions last month from Tuttosport that Rebic could end his loan spell at Milan as early as January in order to seek more playing time elsewhere.
Meanwhile, his compatriot Ivan Rakitic is also struggling for space at Barcelona, and newspaper il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews.it) recently claimed that the 31-year-old has been offered to Milan but his salary makes things complicated.
Now, Zlatko Dalic has spoken out about the lack of playing time for Rebic and Rakitic at their respective clubs.
“I know that January, some of them could find a new team and go play more,” he said (via Calciomercato.com).
“It is very important to us. As I said, we have few top-quality players and it is important that they arrive at the European Championship in good condition.”

With these suggestions, Croatia coach Dalic surely has euro 2020 and beyond, in mind. But mind you the key proponents Modric,Mandzukic,Perisic,Rakitic and Srnei are aging...
Mandzukic is retired after the w.c., srna hasnt been playing for years; perisic has no right to play as first option LW. Croatia have very good young players (vlasic, petkovic, orsic...), but dalic doesnt give them enough play time

I really don't understand why Milan bought Rebic if they weren't going to give him playing time
