#OnThisDay: mostly good results for the Rossoneri when playing on their birthday
1-DECEMBER 16TH, 2006, FIORENTINA 2-2 ACMILAN This was the match that turned the tide for the Rossoneri season. AC Milan had used up their few resources left, amidst various injuries and the busy schedule in order to progress further in the Champions League, and as thus, they fell behind in the championship. November was a very gray month for the Diavoli but the turnaround moment came against Fiorentina, with the Rossoneri trailing 2-1 but with the liberatory equalizer goal by Gilardino scored a few seconds from the final whistle.
