Roma captain Daniele De Rossi will be out for several weeks after suffering a hamstring injury.
De Rossi pulled up in the second half of Roma’s 1-0 win against Udinese on Saturday, and it has since been confirmed that the midfielder sustained a ‘grade-I injury to his right thigh’.
The 35-year-old will consequently be sidelined for up to three weeks, ruling him out of this weekend’s Serie A clash with Champions League rivals Inter.
His season is not necessarily over as the Giallorossi end the campaign with games against Sassuolo and Parma next month.
