Few soon-to-be free agents will generate the kind of interest that is falling at the door of AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The 22-year-old is out of contract in June and despite months of discussions to remain at the San Siro there has been no resolution found between Milan and the goalkeeper's agent, Mino Raiola.
Donnarumma is said to be keen to extend but with Raiola reportedly insisting on a £35million release clause added to Donnarumma's new deal, he may find himself elsewhere in Europe this summer.

Donnaruuma burst onto the scene as a teenager and has quickly established himself as the No 1 for club and country in the last five years. He was unable to keep a clean sheet on Saturday as Milan drew 1-1 with Sampdoria.
His performances, and his age, have caught the eye of Europe's elite with many sides enduring reoccurring problems between the sticks.
Sportsmail looks at the potential landing spots for Donnarumma should he take on a new challenge this summer.
CHELSEA
Wherever Donnarumma goes next he want to have assurances of being that club's No 1 and so it would be something Chelsea need to consider.
Signing goalkeepers has proven something of a blind spot for the Blues in recent years, the £72m on Kepa Arrizabalaga particularly regrettable.
Edouard Mendy has been reliable since arriving last summer but at 29 he is seven years older than Donnarumma and, in the eyes of many, simply isn't as talented.
Chelsea have had issues in goal since they sold Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid in 2018 and there will be few opportunities presented to them as enticing as Donnarumma on a free.
Raiola has already gone public to reveal Chelsea have held talks over a switch for the Italian and who can blame them? Mature beyond his years and a player that could provide a decade of stability. It seems a no brainer.
Mendy is fine but chances to get generational talents like Donnarumma are few and far between. Expect Chelsea to be right in the mix if it becomes clear he is leaving the San Siro.
MANCHESTER UNITED
Another club name-checked by Raiola. United are reportedly in the market for a goalkeeper and they don't come much better than the Italian.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be targeting reinforcements in goal, not offering up many assurances for David de Gea or Dean Henderson.
De Gea's future is far from certain while current third choice, Sergio Romero, is ready to leave at the end of the season when his contract expires, leaving Solskjaer with holes to fill in his squad.
United got a close look at Donnarumma recently when United edged out Milan in a Europa League last-16 match-up.
Donnarumma is a world class talent, but so is Erling Haaland and United passed up on him due to the contractual demands of Raiola.
Solskjaer has been given multiple headaches due to Raiola, who represents midfielder Paul Pogba.
The question is whether they will bite their tongue so as not to miss out on one of the best goalkeepers in Europe. Haaland is showing them exactly what they are missing now and they will not want history to repeat itself.
PSG
Interest from Paris in the young Italian can be traced right back to 2018.
Donnarumma had been criticised by Milan ultras for reports he had asked for his contract to be ripped up - something he categorically denied - and Raiola was continuing to be a thorn in Milan's side.
Relations were eventually repaired and he stayed - but Paris Saint-Germain never stopped monitoring his progress.
It is no secret that new boss Mauricio Pochettino is looking for a new goalkeeper this summer as he eyes a replacement for 34-year-old No 1 Keylor Navas.
Leeds United's Illan Meslier has been mooted, as has a reunion with Tottenham's Hugo Lloris, but Donnarumma would represent the perfect blend of youth and experience.
Battle tested in Europe, albeit the Europa League rather than the Champions League, and is not fazed by the spotlight having been under it since starting for Milan aged just 16.
Money is likely to be no issue to the Parisians and so if it is a case of no transfer fee and just salary demands, watch out for Pochettino putting his charm to work to woo the young goalkeeper.
JUVENTUS
Given he grew up idolising Juventus great Gianluigi Buffon, there is a feeling of inevitability that he will end up in nearby Turin at some stage.
Current Juve No 1 Wojciech Szczesny renewed last season which means it is not a priority position for boss Andrea Pirlo to fix this summer.
But, with that being said, the opportunity to sign Donnarumma does not come around often and given how well Milan have performed domestically so far this season, surpassing Juventus in the standings, the goalkeeper could peak the Old Lady's interest.
Donnarumma would be considered a marked upgrade on the Polish international and could follow in Buffon's footsteps by giving Juventus more than a decade of service.
There are reports in Italy that Raiola's good relationship with Juventus, where he has managed to land clients such as Matthijs de Ligt, has frustrated Milan's negotiations over a new deal.
With Pirlo in need of a youthful overhaul in a bid to get Juventus back on top, there would be no better goalkeeper to mark the new era than Buffon's primary disciple.
AC MILAN
Of course, there is always the option that he stays exactly where he is.
Don't forget that while he grew up in a province of Naples, Donnarumma grew up as a Milan fan, came through their academy and made history when he broke into the first team at 16.
From Milan's side they are keen to keep hold of one of Europe's best young goalkeepers but they also have a financial limit on the package they can put together.
The club have reportedly offered a new deal of €8million-a-year (£6.8m) and that is thought to have been left on the table, neither accepted or declined by Raiola.
'We know his qualities,' Milan icon Franco Baresi said recently when quizzed on the future of the 22-year-old.
'He's grown up at Milan and we know how important he could be in the coming years.'
While there is a sense of urgency in finalising an extension Milan may soon have no choice but to turn attention to a replacement.

If he were to leave AC Milan I think Juventus or PSG are the obvious options for him because I think he wants to win titles every season.

I'm confused if Chelsea go in for Donarumma. Dont get it twisted I'm all for it cos it's a young upcoming keeper who's talented. But are we going down that route of getting in a keeper with good height and reflexes? and if so why are we getting 2 keepers with the same sort of strengths. Cos if we be real as it stands, Mendy and Donarumma are incredibly similar stylistically. Long term we need to potentially have 2 options with certain traits they offer differently. Like maybe 1 keeper that has good feet. Certain games like in Europe its useful to have keepers that have good feet. With this pursuit we will have 2 stylistically same keepers. It just dont make too much sense to me unless the plan is to keep Mendy short term but I think thats a stupid move too. Mendy hasnt been bad at all. If anything hes bailed us out a lot from what could have been an even worse season than we are having. Either way Kepa has to be moved on be it by loan or sell outright though the only way we make money back is to put him out on numerous loans then hope he comes good by like 28 so we can move him on for the remaining fee of what we paid which was 72 million 😩
There's absolutely no way we should sacrifice Mendy for anybody. He's doing a fabulous job at Chelsea so we don't need to change the goalkeeper, although we should be looking to sell Kepa at the first opportunity.
