Douglas Costa has revealed that he's considered retiring in the past because of his injuries.
The 29-year-old has always proven to be injury prone during spells with Bayern Munich and now with current club Juventus.
"I'm never able to be in good shape," the Brazilian told The Players' Tribune.
"I've had so many injuries that I thought about retiring.
"I asked myself if I should keep playing or stop, but then I watched games on TV and it made me realise that this sport is my passion."
Costa has missed 10 matches through injury so far for Juventus this season, scoring two goals in 18 appearances.
