Tim Leiweke has invested more than $100 million into newly promoted Venezia FC after being introduced to the club\u2019s ownership group by rapper Drake.
Leiweke and his daughter, Francesca Bodie, are set to take leading roles at the Serie A side following their return to Italy’s top flight.
The American businessman has extensive experience in sport, previously holding stakes in LA Galaxy and Toronto FC, where his investment helped bring David Beckham to Major League Soccer.
Leiweke’s move marks his return to football after resigning as CEO of Oak View Group amid a DOJ bid-rigging case before later receiving a pardon from Donald Trump in 2025.
Venezia recently secured promotion back to Serie A after one season away.
