Eriksen could start against Juve but 'Vecino is currently favoured to him'

Christian Eriksen could be handed his third consecutive start when Inter take on Juventus according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

As per the report, the Dane was set to start on the bench on Sunday when the fixture was originally scheduled for but after its postponement, the recently turned 28-year-old will have been able to get in another week or training and thus get closer to understanding all that Inter manager Antonio Conte wants of him.

Matias Vecino is the current favourite to complete the midfield alongside Nicolo Barella and Marcelo Brozovic but the report stresses that it cannot be ruled out that Eriksen could become the favourite and start in the match that is to be played behind closed doors at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

Since his arrival at Inter during the January transfer window from Tottenham Hotspur, Eriksen has made seven appearances across all competitions, in which he has contributed one goal and one assist.
