Former Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has opened up on Rasmus Hojlund who is on loan at Napoli.
The 22-year-old scored the decisive goal in a 2-1 victory over Genoa in what was his fourth goal in six games for Napoli under manager Antonio Conte who has been very impressed with him since his arrival on loan this summer.
Hojlund is thriving at Napoli
Hojlund was forced out by United manager Ruben Amorim alongside the likes of Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and many more who were deemed not good enough to pull on the shirt.
The Danish striker has thrived away from United and as football enters the international break, Eriksen has stated that he understands Hojlund’s struggles as he had the same issues at United.
"I’m incredibly happy for 'Ralles'," he said. "I know what he went through at United, good and bad, but he’s always been strong mentally.
“He works incredibly hard and gives it his all, so it’s just great that he’s now scoring goals."
Riemer delighted with Hojlund
The young striker only moved to the Stadio Maradona on deadline day following an injury to Romelu Lukaku. Denmark manager Brian Riemer couldn’t be happier with his striker’s resurgence as he prepares to welcome both him and Eriksen to the national side.
“Having adapted so quickly and having won matches twice in a row leading up to this national team meeting is an adventure that could hardly have been written better for Rasmus,” Riemer told Tipsbladet.
"I am very happy to get a striker into top form. I couldn’t wish for more as the Danish national coach. When you come out on the back of a less successful stay, you hope that things will go well.
“Even though he has Kevin De Bruyne by his side, it is not that easy to meet those expectations. Or to get that start when you come to Napoli, who are Italian champions with sky-high expectations.”

Bruno,is the main problem in manu,he want all the players to worship him,if you failed to do so he will advice Amorim who has put a lot of trust of Bruno to removed that player out/or bench the player, but one day for the thief and the for the owner he must know that.

Hojlund wasn't in the bomb squad! You are the same people who were writing nonsense about him for two years and now you are ignoring the facts and sensationalising lies to make yourselves part of Hojlund's bright start to life in Italy. You are the same people who would ask why does Amorim select him?

He can’t play quick. And he gets choke in tight spaces. That’s why he ends up wrestling with defenders the whole games…. Sesko is more cunning. He plays in his pace and he’s good in tight space. He holds plays. You can see the goal keeper trust him with long balls to beat press. He hold the ball for midfielders, release in and move to spaces. He is better than Rasmus.

Barcelona should study the loan contract agreement of 22 years old Hojlund. This guy will be a good fit for Barcelona. Lazy Deco, check this out!

This proved to show De Bruyne is so much better than Bruno who know how to assist him for goals 👍🏼
