'Everything is normal' - Sarri denies there are bad terms between him and Dybala

Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri said “it’s normal to argue” and insists “everything seems normal” between him and Paulo Dybala ahead of the match against Udinese.

The Argentine was not happy when he was substituted against Roma last weekend, but Sarri has denied they are on bad terms and has claimed “it’s normal to argue”.

Ahead of the Coppa Italia game against the Friuli, the Old Lady coach had to calm down the rumours about unrest.

“I speak to Paulo every day, he’s a very pleasant boy,” Sarri said at a press conference. “He only asked me why I brought him off. It seems normal and not something bad. In every line of work, it happens that you argue.

“The sensation is that our attackers are doing well. Ronaldo is in an extraordinary moment. His record shows it.”

Merih Demiral has been ruled out for the next six to seven months with a torn ACL and Sarri will have to count on Matthijs de Ligt and Daniele Rugani for the next few months, as captain Giorgio Chiellini is still out injured.

“I have seen De Ligt has recovered well and Rugani is also an important player,” Sarri said. “In order to play in a back-four, Emre Can would need a long course. In the national team, he would play in a back-three.”

“To play in midfield, you need certain characteristics.”

Sarri revealed he will make changes against Udinese tomorrow and claimed he “hopes” to be able to use Marko Pjaca more often going forward.

“Pjaca is an important player who I hope will have more space. In Naples he was one of our targets and I was angry when he moved to Juventus.”

“[Gianluigi] Buffon should play, he’s a great resource for us. Those who played in Rome, was doing light training today.”
