FIGC president Gravina tribute to Inter Milan coach Inzaghi

FIGC president Gabriele Gravina is full of praise for Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi.

Inzaghi was named Coach of the Year this week, being presented with the Bearzot award.

Gravina said at the presentation: “I like Simone Inzaghi's ideas.

“This season, he was unanimously identified as the winner of the Bearzot Award.

“He has reached the full level of maturity at the helm of Inter, both on and off the pitch.

“Bearzot himself would have liked Inzaghi's work. He represents the most spectacular evolution of the so-called Italian school."

He added: “Another aspect of the manager that I like to enhance is his strong sense of belonging to the clubs. He proved it at Lazio in the past and now at Inter.

“He manages to create a climate of great friendship and collaboration."
