According to the latest report from The Athletic, following Arsenal's Champions League final loss last week, Gabriel's jersey sales increased by 350%.
Gabriel reportedly took the final penalty in the shootout, but his shot went over the bar, and Paris Saint-Germain won the Champions League for the second consecutive season.
After the match, fans showed their support by snapping up his jersey, making him the best-selling player for jerseys last weekend. At one point, the Brazilian international's jersey sales were double that of any other jersey.
Gabriel joined Arsenal in 2020 and has since made 261 appearances for the club. He was a key figure in the team winning the Premier League title and reaching the Champions League final, starting 30 of 32 league matches and 11 of 15 European competition matches this season.
