Federico Chiesa is in Fiorentina’s squad for the International Champions Cup, but Jordan Veretout has been left out.
Fiorentina are adamant Chiesa will not leave the club this summer, and the forward has been called up for the friendly tournament.
However, Veretout is omitted as Roma and Milan battle it out for the midfielder’s signature.
German Pezzella is also nowhere to be seen, although the defender’s exclusion is due to his recent participation at Copa America with Argentina.
The Viola have replaced the Giallorossi at the International Champions Cup and will face Guadalajara, Arsenal and Benfica in the US.
They kick off their campaign against Guadalajara next Wednesday.
