Benevento coach Filippo Inzaghi always cared for his own goalscoring records and confessed that Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo makes him angry.
The 46-year-old retired in 2012 after having won the World Cup and two Champions League crowns after stints at Parma, Juventus and Milan he finished on 70 goals in 115 games in the European Cups.
Ronaldo has played 177 games including the qualifiers in the early stage of his career and has bagged 131 goals in the process, with Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi on 117 in 145 matches.
“I always use him [Ronaldo] as an example in the dressing room,” Inzaghi told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “That’s because I know how he trains.
“But I’m a bit angry with him and Messi. Thanks to them, it seems like Raul and I scored very few goals in the Cups.”

Can't deny that your tally seems low. Even football changed forever. Back in your prime time players couldn't score those many goals because of rules favouring defensive way much more than that of now. But still 70 by you and 62 by Raul isn't low. They are some big numbers and many can't achieve that. For my father who is a Milan fan you are one of the most underrated player.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is one step above every other Footballer. They make good players stats look like average. I doubt we will ever see another two players like them ever again, when you see the word Greatness think of Cristiano and Messi.
