Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano says they want to win the Europa Conference League for Joe Barone.
The former director passed away earlier this season.
Ahead of tonight's clash with Olympiakos, Italiano said: "The president he's busy as always, it's not like me who suffers from plane trips: it takes 16-17 hours and he arrives recharged, calm and smiling.
"It's always a pleasure to see him and his wife, today as soon as he arrived he gave the speech to the Trasmette team the trust that is needed for these very difficult commitments and I must not add the fact that tomorrow on the pitch a few drops of sweat will have to be thrown away for him, for his family, for Joe Barone and Joe's family.
"For what we have experienced in the last few months: We didn't deserve this tragedy, the president and Fiorentina didn't deserve such bad moments as losing a friend. There are already images of Joe and the president in the locker room."
