Fiorentina are reportedly prepared to offer Gennaro Gattuso a two-year deal, but Lazio are still being linked with the Calabrian coach.
Gattuso will leave Napoli this summer and the Viola are pushing for his signature, as President Rocco Commisso has identified the former Milan coach as the perfect fit for the Artemio Franchi.
SportItalia reports the talks between Gattuso and Fiorentina continued this morning and the offer of a two-year deal could arrive by tomorrow.
But Lazio are also interested in Gattuso, who leaves Napoli after finishing fifth in Serie A this term.
President Claudio Lotito have to talk to coach Simone Inzaghi before he can make a move and a meeting has, according to the broadcaster, been scheduled for tomorrow.
But Fioerntina are already in advanced talks with the 43-year-old and could get there first.
