Nottingham Forest striker Lorenzo Lucca is being lined up for a return to Serie A.
Lucca, who belongs to Napoli, was loaned to Nottingham Forest in January to get more playing time.
But the time in England has not gone as planned. He has scored one goal in seven games for the club.
La Gazzetta dello Sport says Bologna resumed his interest in the Italian striker.
The Serie A club has followed Lucca for a long time and was already interested four years ago, as well as during the last January window.
Bologna is prepared to sell Thijs Dallinga this summer, which means that the club is looking for a replacement. Lucca is mentioned as one of the options.
