A furious Jose Mourinho has slammed Juventus after his Roma side were left to rue a refereeing howler in their Serie A defeat on Sunday evening.
Mourinho's side thought they had levelled the scores at 1-1 through Tammy Abraham in the first half, only to realise that the referee had blown his whistle and given them a penalty instead of the goal - which they went on to miss.
Juventus then saw out the 1-0 win, leaving Mourinho and his entire squad furious - and it is understood there was also some fall-out in the tunnel and the dressing rooms after the match.
Speaking after the controversial defeat, former Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United boss Mourinho said: 'All the words we heard from Juventus in the tunnel and the locker room, I hope they say it in public too.
'They know how much they struggled against us. I won here many years ago without playing so well, today we lost when playing very well.'
Mourinho also goaded the Juventus fans inside the stadium by holding up three fingers - again - to signify the treble he won in Italy with Inter Milan.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Portuguese wasn't given the best reception by the Allianz Arena crowd, but it was the Juve fans who left the happiest at full-time.
Moise Kean, on loan from Everton, put Juve ahead early on in the match, before Abraham thought he had levelled proceedings just before half-time.
However, Roma were instead given a penalty by referee Daniele Orsato for a foul on Henrikh Mkhitaryan by Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny that had occurred in the build-up to the goal.
To compound Roma's misery, Jordan Veretout's penalty was then kept out by Szczesny, with Juve holding on for all three points.
Roma remain above Juventus and in the top four of Serie A, although their three dropped points leaves them nine points off leaders Napoli, who are yet to drop a single point.
Juve, meanwhile, are seventh and 10 points off the top, although they have now found some form with four wins on the spin.

When its about Juve it become controversial, Referee had blown the whistle and even Roma player fell down and his hand touch the ball before the goal happened, nothing wrong with the Penalty.

Juventus despite all the expenditure for buying all best players but u could not play even semi final in cl. talkless of a treble. match fixing club and was relegated because of that. so Jose is by far better than allegri,
Jose is Jose and Allegri is Allegri

why Juventus fan are so much excited here. the goal was just a fluke... a lucky Kean at right time. It's never been a perfect header. Look how many chances created by Roma... they just rode on Juventus defence...only Chellini and Bonuchi are best among them.... not to forget Szczesny.... the great saver for Juve.... I can say here , best team lost. Roma also missed Zaniolo. if he is fit enough he will be causing more danger for Juve. I like the way Roma dominantly played each game. definitely the result is not fair enough ... but we can see Roma is more dangerous than last season.
well we are excited for the 3 points. a win is a win no matter what. our goal was a fluke but u couldn't score a penalty. and our defense were masters stopping your strikers.

referee howler ? if the referee allows play to go on , then VAR will eventually disallow the goal because there was a voluntary handball by Miktaryan before the ball getting to abraham, so yes it's a penalty.
