Inter's Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini stopped by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia to share his thoughts on the first 45 minutes of the first Serie A fixture of 2020 against Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo.
The former Atalanta player was understandably happy but believed the Nerazzurri could improve on several aspects in the second in order to go home with all three points.
“There's a lot of back and forth on the pitch, we have to be more solid and avoid conceding counter attacks because they are a very good team and they can hurt us in the second half.
“We have to do well when anticipating and to simply make as few stupid mistakes as possible.”
The Nerazzurri lead 2-1 after the first half after a brace from Romelu Lukaku with Arek Milik scoring for Napoli.
