Gian Pieri Gasperini says Serie A leaders Atalanta are full of momentum and enthusiasm ahead of welcoming Empoli on Sunday.
La Dea are two points clear of Napoli at the summit after 16 matches and, following last weekend's victory over Cagliari, on a club-record run of 10 straight league wins.
Gasperini's side built on that momentum in midweek with a 6-1 rout of Serie B side Cesena in the Coppa Italia last 16.
And, with 10th-placed Empoli next up at Gewiss Stadium, the Atalanta boss hailed the spirit within the camp.
"We come with great momentum and enthusiasm, all games are difficult in Serie A," Gasperini said.
We are in a good moment. My players are enjoying themselves, and they are good together.
"We have a great spirit, as well as confidence and enthusiasm. The fans are extraordinary. We're going through a very positive period."
