Genoa have officially brought back Cristian Romero for another season, on loan from Juventus.
Romero recently joined Juve, passing a medical on Tuesday, and he confirmed in an Instagram post that he was returning to Genoa.
“Now my head is only on Genoa. We start a great year with work. Forza Genoa,” he wrote.
The Grifone also announced on their official website that he had joined up with the squad for their training camp in Austria.
The 21-year-old only joined the Rossoblu from Argentina side Belgrano last summer in a €1.65m deal.
Despite the difficult campaign, he became a virtual ever-present after early October, missing only four Serie A games.
His performances caught the eye of the Bianconeri, who have agreed to pay a reported €15-20m.

Both teams made out. Genoa with huge profit, short term benefit. Juve now has a promising player who will get a full season of maturing instead of sitting on the bench.
