Marco Giampaolo said Fabio Quagliarella “should be protected by UNESCO as a world heritage site” after yet another Sampdoria goal.
The veteran striker found the net for the sixth Serie A game in a row, a run he had never managed in his career during a single season.
“Quagliarella should be protected by UNESCO as a world heritage site,” joked the Coach on DAZN. “He is immortal. There really are no more words to say about him.”
The latest goal came in a 2-0 victory over Parma at Marassi.
“I already knew Jacopo Sala was strong too and I am not surprised by what he is doing. We did really well today, the team was focused and patient. I must compliment my players.
“With all the respect I have for Parma, we out-played them today.”
