Gonzalo Higuain has been pictured with Inter Miami's managing owner Jorge Mas as he closes in on his move to the club.
Higuain has arrived in United States, with Juventus having terminated his contract a year early to allow him to secure the move.
Mas posted a picture on Twitter of himself and Higuain accompanied by the caption: 'A warm welcome to Gonzalo Higuain, a world class striker and champion.'
Higuain's brother Nicolas was in Italy on Tuesday to hold discussions over the former Argentina international's future.
Once his move to Inter Miami is finalised, the 32-year-old is poised to link up with his former Juventus team-mate Blaise Matuidi.
Inter Miami, owned by David Beckham, secured a 2-1 victory over Atlanta United this week.
Higuain scored 66 goals in 148 appearances for Juventus, winning three Serie A titles and two Coppa Italias.
During his time at Juventus he had spells on loan at AC Milan and Chelsea.

Most visible proofs of Incompetence of juventus management are selling players like cancelo and spinazzola and keeping de sciglio, Alex sandro and buying Danilo...this board was a joke from the start.
Spinnazola is both injury and error prone that is why even though he is better than Sandro in the offensive phase it is was better that he was sold plus Juve got Luca Pellegrini in exchange. The jury is still out on this transfer. Yeah, Cancelo - Danilo swap didn't go well. I would like to emphasis that Alex Sandro is still one of the best LBs in the world, arguably the best defensive LB in the world. As for De Sciglio, he was thought to be a useful squad player but injuries and abysmal performances proved otherwise. Villareal seems to interest in buying him, I hope it is true.

Cancelo was great during the first half of his debut season but became a defensive liability during the later half of the season when his attacking input diminshed. He was responsible for the defeat at Ajax due to his careless in possession creating counterattack leading to both goals. Still he should have been given another chance to prove himself.

We can’t completely thank God that he’s gone . Because the incompetent Juventus is management are planning to replace him with another possible joke of a player. So what’s there to be happy about. Seems they’re going from bad to worse
