Manchester City have made it clear that Jack Grealish is free to leave the club this summer but the England star has not yet secured a transfer away from The Etihad
Jack Grealish is poised to train alone at Manchester City while his camp continue to work on a summer move after learning that his career at The Etihad is over.
Grealish, 29, was omitted from the squad that travelled to the United States for the Club World Cup. But the England star has not yet managed to secure a transfer away and will return for training at the club he is destined to leave this summer.
The former Aston Villa man has been working with a personal trainer to ensure he is in the best possible physical condition.
But a new report from The Telegraph has revealed that Grealish has agreed to return to training at City - initially on his own - until his future is sorted. There is a belief he will benefit from the facilities on offer and there is no suggestion that him training alone - with the rest of City's squad not due to return until the end of the month - is a punishment of any sort.
There has been interest shown in Grealish and City are ready to take a substantial financial hit on the Β£100million they paid out to sign him back in the summer of 2021.
However, several enquiries have been in relation to a loan move. City would prefer a sale but could consider a well-proportioned loan deal as the window advances.
West Ham are among the Premier League sides interested in taking Grealish on loan and the club's top brass have discussed such a deal. Everton have also been linked with an audacious move to take Grealish on a temporary basis for the 2025-26 campaign.
Antonio Conte is a big admirer of Grealish and Napoli are in the market for a left winger. But they, like other suitors, would likely struggle to afford Grealish's salary, plus they have other targets.
The report also outlines that Grealish's relationship with Manchester City is healthy and that training alone is not any sort of punishment. He has made no secret of his affection for the club and a clip of him expressing such sentiments after a recent Oasis concert was quickly shared around on social media.
As such, a loan move may also be the player's preference should he feel he is not ready to cut all ties with City yet, even if he has been deemed surplus to requirements.
Grealish is, however, determined to play regularly ahead of next year's World Cup and Thomas Tuchel has hinted that the England star may need to move elsewhere in order to play regularly enough to earn a place in his squad for the tournament.

When you win, dont celebrate like you have conquired the world. See now how the club dumps you. Let your ego vanish first....
oh so now even when the goal means the world to you you may not celebrate

see, if it's United every body will start talking about how a 100M player has been maltreated. why is this one not the coach's fault? If it's other Clubs, it's the player's fault, if it's United, it's the coach's fault. this is the kind of bias reporting that goes on, on this app.
trying all means to talk rubbish,he has won everything with city, now he is past his prime ,,it's not a bad business after all,go and deal with manutd issues, city have soared!
