Former Barcelona striker Henrik Larsson joined up with his old club at their Ciutat Esportiva training ground on Monday and posed for a picture with current captain Andres Iniesta.
The 44-year-old played for Barca between 2004 and 2006, helping them to back-to-back Liga titles as well as the 2006 Champions League crown.
Now managing Swedish side Helsingborgs IF, Larsson was already in Catalonia with his team for a warm weather training camp.
Larsson scored 19 goals in 58 games in all competitions during his spell with Barca and told the club's website that he still follows their progress now.
'I watch them whenever I can,' he said, before heaping praise onto head coach Luis Enrique for continuing the tradition of fast, free flowing football.
The ex-Celtic and Manchester United forward added: 'Sometimes it seems like you're watching a FIFA game being played on a PlayStation.'
Barca are currently top of the league table having played 22 games so far with 54 points, three clear of second-placed Atletico Madrid.
Their next fixture, however, comes in the Copa del Rey quarter-final second-leg on Wednesday against Gary Neville's Valencia, over whom they hold a commanding 7-0 aggregate lead.

Iniesta got a good farewell..he could play till he was able to..even when he played badly towards the end of his Barcelona career no one noticed it because Messi made up for it with his brilliance...But now Messi at the end of his career cannot afford a good farewell because there is no one who could make up for Messi's poor performances..he asked the board to invest, bring neymar back who could share his burden and Messi could retire with pride winning trophies but this board wouldn't listen...so can he be blamed for leaving?..he has gone through enough humiliation...Messi didn't allow any other Barca legends (Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol etc) go through such humiliation at the end of their career. They all went out holding their head high....Messi is not granted that privilege though he is the most deserving.. .
