Former Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero discussed Inter and their powerful striker Romelu Lukaku on Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, following the Nerazzurri’s important 2-1 victory over Bologna last night.
“Lukaku is a mix between Vieri and Ibrahimovic. He’s good at not being moved like Bobo, with more power than speed. On the subject of ball and foot skills, however, he reminds me of Ibrahimovic.”
“It’s no coincidence that Juventus wanted him too, today it’s easy to say, but Inter made a great deal by taking him, a player with these characteristics always makes the difference on the pitch.”
The former Manchester United forward joined the Nerazzurri in the summer for a club record €80 million and so far his performances are showing that the cost for Inter was worth it.
He has scored nine goals in 11 league appearances so far this season, with his two goals yesterday gifting the Nerazzurri a vital three points. Inter are still one point behind league leaders Juventus.

Lukaku had problems with his first touch. If he had worked on that he would have been brilliant in the EPL.

Enough of this Lukaku and Man Utd comparison, these things are common with every other player , why Utd is so special here , with these endless teasing , your obsession for Lukaku's exit from Utd and success at Inter should have some limit ...

This is absolutely out of sense. he is fortunate doesn't mean that at the end of season he will be consistent.

Lukaku at Inter is what people had expected Lukaku of ManUtd to be. #LukakuWasNeverTheProblem

Del Piero must be over-joyed but to mention Zlatan is a no no .... Lukaku is becoming the lukaku we used to know (at Everton ) and not Zlatan

Lukaku as we all know is a great player But he needs the board, players, coach and fans support to show his class, I believe that is what he didn’t see at Manchester

Lukaku is a Talent no doubt. The style of a league a player plays in is also a huge factor. EPL is different to Serie A
