Rasmus Hojlund has praised Antonio Conte for the positive impact he’s having since his move to Napoli.
The Danish striker, returning to Serie A after a stint with Atalanta, has found a new lease of life in Italy and scored in Napoli’s 2-1 victory over Genoa at the weekend.
Former Manchester United teammate Scott McTominay has also thrived under the experienced coach.
"Conte is a top coach," Hojlund told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"I came here because I knew this was an important step for me. Napoli is a great club, and a wonderful place to live. It's exactly what I need right now in my career."
Hojlund’s confidence waned gradually last season, but he insists his renewed spirit isn’t a result of playing in a different tactical system.
"For me it's the same, I don't care about the formation," he said.
"I just play football and try to do my job as best I can."
