Juventus have announced the loan signing of full-back Emil Holm from Bologna.

The Swedish defender will spend the rest of the 2025-26 campaign with the Bianconeri, and the Serie A giants reportedly have an option to make the move permanent in the summer.

Holm has directly contributed to five goals this season (one goal, four assists), with only Inter’s Federico Dimarco (13) registering more goal involvements among Serie A defenders this term.

The 25-year-old has only featured in 11 league games in 2025-26, while also representing Bologna in five Europa League matches.

There was also a loan deal going in the other direction, with Juventus summer signing Joao Mario joining Bologna for the remainder of the season.

The midfielder has struggled for minutes, making just two Serie A starts and failing to score or assist in 10 league games since his move from Porto.

Defender Daniele Rugani has also been loaned out to Fiorentina after his injury struggles this season.

The 31-year-old, who was loaned out to Ajax last term, has made a total of eight appearances across the Italian top-flight and Champions League in the 2025-26 campaign.
