Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the target of vile abuse from a Red Star Belgrade fan during AC Milan's Europa League encounter with the Serbian side on Thursday.
The Swedish striker has Bosnian roots from his father's side, and this became the theme of the spectator's xenophobic slur.
"Why don't you sit down? You smell like a Muslim," the fan yelled.
The incident took place just after Theo Hernandez had put Milan 2-1 up from the penalty spot. The game ended 2-2 as the hosts managed to pull level deep into stoppage time.
