With a goal against Genk, Red Bull Salzburg’s Erling Haaland has become the first teenager in the history of the European Cup/UEFA Champions League to score in five consecutive appearances in the competition.
Only Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski has also scored in all five matchdays so far in the Champions League this season, with the Poland international having netted the most goals in the Champions League this term with 10, while Haaland is in second place with eight.
Haaland set another record with his goal against Genk, with the striker's eight goals the most any player has scored in their first five Champions League appearances.
