Inter Milan fullback Denzel Dumfries is looking forward to a first World Cup with Holland.
Dumfries earned his place in the Oranje squad thanks to his form with Inter.
“I'm looking forward to it," he told NOS.
“The World Cup is the most important competition and it's a dream to be involved, an honour. Van Gaal was very clear about trying to win it, we are working hard and we are faithful.
“It's strange not to see Italy, but there will be seven Inter players.
“It's been a while since our national team did well in the knock-out phase and everyone knows us as a country with quality footballers."
