Inter Milan striker Edin Dzeko says he has no plans to retire.
The 37 year-old discussed his future at a Bosnia media conference on Thursday.
He said, “The fact that I am here at 37 says how much the national team means to me.
“Many players retire at my age, I play every three days with my club and I don't want to stop now. I'd be super happy if the national team gain great results and qualify for the Euros for the first time in history. In the past, we failed to do so for many reasons, but now we are here and it all depends on us.
“We want to start with a victory," continued the 37-year-old, “but we must give the best on the pitch. A win would boost our self confidence ahead of the next matches, let's see what happens."
