Inter Milan striker Thuram: My father always available with advice

Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram credits his father for his career success.

Thuram is the son of former Juventus and Parma defender Lilian Thuram.

He told Sky Italia: "My father Lilian does what he acts like a father with a son, he talks to me about life and football, about how to grow as a man and as a footballer.

"He always told me to do what I like and enjoy what I do on the pitch. In terms of values he talks about respect for people, we are all equal human beings and we must coexist."

On brother Khephren, who plays for Nice, Marcus added: "Dad gives him a lot of advice too, I just tell him to always try to grow in training and in matches, I'm happy and proud of him."
