Inter have agreed to loan Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa to Flamengo until December, but there’s a clause in case an offer comes in during 2019.
The striker just returned from a successful loan spell at Santos, his former club, and is returning to Brazil once more.
He had been linked with West Ham United, but it’s reported they couldn’t get him a work permit.
Gabigol today essentially confirmed via social media that he was going to join Flamengo.
According to Sky Sport Italia, there is a rather unusual clause in the deal.
Flamengo are getting the forward for free, only paying his salary and performance-related bonuses.
However, if a big offer comes in to purchase Barbosa before the loan deal expires in December, then Flamengo will receive five per cent of the transfer fee.

Well that was a quick turn around.Usually it takes like 10 years &8 clubs for a Brazilian with a shitty attitude to get sent back to Brazil.

He almost never plays, which is normal for his age,its more difficult to strikers to start playing at this age than other positions since they have to physically dispute with defenders all the time.

he's already 22,and has spent a fu 18 months failing completely in Europe including on possibly the best team in a league of a standard below the Premier League.I don't see how the committee would rule that he would qualify as a special talent worthy of waiving the rules to allow to play in the Premier League after all that;it just doesn't add up.

We had to jump through enough hoops with the special talent argument to convince the board to let him play here, and it was touch and go,although we assumed the Pozzos wouldn't have gone to all the trouble to bring him if they weren't confident he'd be given permission.I doubt West Ham could have made the same argument with much weight for Gabigol after he has failed so spectacularly with both Inter and Benfica in Europe.

Think he gave up on Europe,he had links with West Ham, seems like they really wanted him but he wants to play here, oh well
