Inter have made it clear that they will not be interested in signing Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa in a potential deal for their goalkeeper André Onana.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW) have reported that both the clubs held a meeting on Wednesday about a potential deal involving the Cameroon international Onana. The Blues had offered Kepa plus cash in a deal, but Inter’s response was a negative one. They value Onana at €40 million and they want to make a capital profit in the deal, as the player had arrived on a free transfer in the summer.
While they do not want players inserted in the deal, there are a couple of Chelsea players that interest them. Midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is liked by the Nerazzurri and Trevoh Chalobah, who was of interest last summer, is still someone who is liked by the club.
It has been previously reported that Onana is being tracked by Chelsea for over an year now, with club technical director Lawrence Stewart said to be a long-term admirer of the former Ajax man.
