Inter are reportedly about to open talks with PSV for Netherlands winger Steven Bergwijn.
According to De Telegraaf, Inter will send a delegation to the Netherlands ‘soon’ to scope out the possibility of signing Bergwijn [pictured, left].
The newspaper explains the Nerazzurri face competition from Manchester United, driving the price up to €30m.
Calciomercato.com adds the 21-year-old caught the eye of the Beneamata with his performances against them in the Champions League.
Bergwijn has already scored nine goals and assisted eight in 17 Eredivisie appearances this season, helping PSV take top spot.

I agree, but the Memphis when he was the same age as Bergwijn is today are having alot of similarities. Both amazing pace, shot and dribble. Memphis also played at the same age at PSV and i See much of him in Bergwijn. Only the present Memphis is much different. He changed alot, gained alot of physic(muscle, strenght) and isn’t a real LW/RW anymore.
the reason Memphis isn't really used as a winger anymore, mostly used centrally but is a bit more effective out wide

at his age Memphis was all about flair and goals I mean I know bergwijn can dribble but not with the same flair as Memphis as a 21 year old memphis

nah Memphis is actually a Ronald type winger and in my eyes the perfect ronaldo replacement . i mean this guy has a hell of a freekick thunderous right boot and beats defenders at will

Can he play on the right?
Yes but preferes left, so he can cut inside to take a shot with his right foot.

He is the best attacking talent we have in the Netherlands right now. He has developed/grown so much the past few years. I think he has the potention to become one of the best attacking LW/RW. He has a great shot, score goals, can beat and dribbel past opponents, has amazing pace and isn’t selfish. Besides that he behaves like a professional, fully focused on football. I tell you, this is a player to keep an eye. About a transfer. I Am 99% sure this won’t happen this transferwindow or they have to pay a crazy amount PSV can’t refuse, like 50m. PSV said many times in the media that they won’t let any of there starplayers leave this transferwindow, because we really need them to win the dutch league. But i really hope he will join Man United next season. I think he will succeed there. He is like Memphis 2.0, he has the same skills like Memphis had at that age, but Bergwijn is modest and more professional, totally focused on football.

When de telegraaf says anything per Dutch players and transfers, I personally take note. They proved highly informed and accurate during the LvG era.
They are a newspaper from Amsterdam. They mainly post news about ajax players of staff, like LVG, de ligt, de Jong etc. To get accurate news about PSV players you should Check out newspaper “Eindhovens Dagblad”.

Like Alexis, Di Maria or Memphis? We gotta get people who fit the team.

yeah we were definately much more in a need for a RW already at that time than we needed another LW in Sanchez. We urgently need a DoF with some idea about football. Options I see are Lozano, Sancho, Ünder, Thauvin, Malcom

Who do you think would be a good signing for the RW? We should of signed Mahrez when we had the chance.

He’s 21, he can play on both left and the right wing, what’s the problem?

Maybe a backup left back would be good. But first it would be better if we focus on a first choice RB and a RW

I’d have him play on the right. And him, Rashford and Martial could be deadly on the counter. Both are very fast.
