Inter will remove Lautaro Martinez's release clause as part of his new contract with the club according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
The 22-year-old Argentine international has been in fine form this season having netted 14 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions which has only served to make his current release clause further enticing to other clubs.
Lautaro's current contract with the club, which runs until 2023, contains a €111 million release clause which is valid only during July 1-15 each year.
Talks over a new contract have been ongoing for some time and the former Racing club player looks set to double his current wages.
He is currently earning €1.7 million a year and the contract offer that Inter chief executive Giuseppe 'Beppe' Marotta intends to present to him and his representatives comes with a salary of €3.5 million.
Inter wish to remove the release clause as part of this new deal to give them more power when clubs will undoubtedly come knocking on the door for him in the future.

lautaro should stay at inter if he want to develop but if he goes to Barcelona he will be next casualty as Dembele,Turan,Max,Coutinho or Griezmann etc.....Barcelona is now a team which can destroy players

To be honest, It is high time he moved his life to Barca bcz I think Suarez will go to MLS at the end of the season or if he stays he can teach him some extraneous skill and style so that he can adapt Barca style quickly and he ll be no.1 striker from then..I wish him luck on his goal
