Inter could terminate the contract of forward Alexis Sanchez this season, and he is being targeted by the likes of River Plate and clubs in La Liga.
This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Chilean's future is all but certain to be away from the Nerazzurri but that it's not clear where he'll go.
Sanchez is currently one of Inter's highest-earning players, but his performances are not considered to be worth the size of the salary that the club are paying him.
Accordingly, it looks clear that the club are working to part ways with the 33-year-old despite the fact that his contract runs for one more season until the end of June 2023, and could do so by paying a €4 million release clause.
Alternatively, Sanchez could leave on a free transfer during the summer window, with Argentine giants River Plate and a number of clubs in the Spanish top flight reportedly keen on his signature.

Another braindead and clueless inter fan. I'm kinda embarrassed that people like you support my club. The problem is our strikers missing sitters, penalties and making bad decisions most of them coming from Lautaro Martinez. Yet you are want to blame it on Sanchez who barely starts and made a significant impact in big games. And if your case is that Sanchez lost the balls a few times, then look at how much Lautaro lost the ball(alot of more) The problem with our club is the ownership and fans like you. This is why we sell our top talents because of people who think like you. And you have the audacity to call people dumb.
your the braindead one, believing in a player who is past his prime an is no where near the quality he should be, lautaro is young an has alot of room for development, yes he cost us opportunities but when it comes to a players who puts the work rate in, no one is above him Barella an brozovic, Sanchez is dead load who makes to many mistakes, that's why he rarely starts an get game time, because he is more of a harm in games than a benefit so sdfu an go find a brain

you are clearly dumb, the problem is Dzeko is not as good a strike partner at this age as lukaku is, so lautaro has much more work to do, you clearly watch inter play with your eyes close

The guy barely starts first of all. In the big games Lautaro cost us way more games than Sanchez ever did. Have you been watching our games or you are being a fanboy. If it wasn't for Skriniar and Perisic would already be seventh because Lautaro-Dzeko is one of the worst partnerships I have seen. I hope overrated Lautaro is sold, good God even Icardi was better.

you are dumb, few good performances an you want to keep him? how many times has he lost the ball an cost us goals on the counter, how many times has he stopped attacks that could of led to goals, how many times has he held the ball way to long, atleast Martinez is young an still growing but Sanchez is old an making amateur mistakes

What is the reason for terminating his contract. If it wasn't Sanchez we would of lost the SuperCoppa and knocked out of the Coppa Italia. But you rather start Lautaro who normally does nothing of essence on the pitch. Missing sitters and penalties. We need new ownership. Asian ownership has been the worst for my 20+ years supporting this great club.

the Asian ownerships are the reason why Inter is relevant again
