Italy will reportedly include Sampdoria striker Fabio Quagliarella in their next training camp.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Italy CT Roberto Mancini has been given ‘a very small window’ between next Monday and Tuesday to assess players at Coverciano.
The newspaper writes the training camp will only involve domestic players and those who take part in the Cagliari-Atalanta and Frosinone-Lazio games next Monday.
Consequently, it expects Quagliarella to be convened after he overtook Cristiano Ronaldo as Serie A’s top scorer at the weekend, moving up to 16 goals for the campaign.
Despite turning 36 on Thursday, the forward is one game away from becoming the first player in Serie A history to find the back of the net in 12 consecutive games.
La Gazzetta adds Milan right-back Antonio Conti, Juventus left-back Leonardo Spinazzola, Roma attacker Stephan El Shaarawy, Parma striker Roberto Inglese and ‘maybe’ Sassuolo defender Giangiacomo Magnani will join Quagliarella.

What a season it has been for this man and this is surely the icing on the cake for him. Getting a call up at the age of 36 is a gift. He's the top scorer in Italy at the moment and has scored in 11 consecutive matches. A record tying and could break it in his next match by scoring. Congrats on your call up fabio.
