Goal takes a look at the biggest transfer rumours from the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and beyond as we head into the winter window
RONALDO TELLS MADRID TO SELL HIM FOR €100M
Cristiano Ronaldo has put Manchester United and PSG on alert by asking Real Madrid to sell him for €100 million, according to Daily Record.
The Portuguese superstar will apparently fight for a move away from the Bernabeu, having fallen out with club president Florentino Perez.
The report claims that central to Ronaldo's issues with Perez is his belief that the Madrid surpremo reneged on an end-of-season promise to improve his financial terms with a new deal.
PL RIVALS SCOUT ROCHDALE TEENAGER
Chelsea and Manchester United have made enquiries about Rochdale’s 14-year-old defender Luke Matheson, according to ESPN.
Matheson has been watched by scouts from Chelsea and United recently as the Premier League giants look to make a move for the right-back.
SANCHEZ WANTS REAL MADRID SWITCH
Want-away Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has asked his agent to put a move to Real Madrid in place, claims Don Balon.
The Chilean continues to run down his contract at Emirates Stadium and may be sold in January while the Gunners can still generate a fee.
A switch to Manchester City has been mooted for some time, but former Barcelona star Sanchez now favours a return to Spain.
BUTLAND TO OPT FOR ANFIELD
Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland favours a move to Liverpool over a switch to Chelsea, reports Football.London.
The England international is a £30 million target for both clubs, and Jurgen Klopp is poised to pip Antonio Conte to his signature.
ZAHA A TOP TARGET FOR WENGER
Arsenal want to bring in Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, according to the Daily Star.
The Gunners are expected to be in the market for creative talent as they prepare to part with those heading towards free agency.
Zaha has impressed for Palace this season and has also been linked with Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham.
ARSENAL STARS WANT ALEXIS GONE
A selection of Arsenal's key players are fed up with Alexis Sanchez and want him to leave the club in January, according to the Daily Mail .
Certain members of the Gunners squad have apparently had enough of the Chilean's attitude, with Jack Wilshere having reportedly confronted Alexis over his wastefulness in possession.
The report claims that some of Alexis's team-mates want him gone in the winter transfer window, with Manchester City strongly linked, while others were keen to see him leave last summer.
CHELSEA EYE JANUARY BARKLEY DEAL
Chelsea are looking to bring in Ross Barkley from Everton in the January transfer window, according to The Independent.
The midfielder turned down a switch to Stamford Bridge in the summer but Antonio Conte is confident he will now get his man and will try again when the window reopens.
Tottenham have also been tracking Barkley although are apparently more inclined to wait until the summer and attempt to sign him on a free transfer.
BORDEAUX REJECT SPURS' MALCOM OFFER
Tottenham have had a €35 million offer for Bordeaux star Malcom rejected by the French club, according to UOL Esporte .
Spurs apparently made the bid to attain 90% of the forward's economic rights but it was knocked back by the Ligue 1 side.
As revealed by Goal, Malcom is a target for Manchester United, with Jose Mourinho set to make an opening bid of around £40m in the winter window .
STURRIDGE WANTS SOUTHAMPTON MOVE
Daniel Sturridge wants to join Southampton but fears Liverpool will block the move from happening, according to the Daily Mirror .
The England striker has found first-team chances hard to come by in 2017-18 and has made just nine league appearances so far this season.
And, with the 2018 World Cup on the horizon, Sturridge wants to be allowed to leave to join the Saints in a bid for regular game time, but does not believe Jurgen Klopp will accept any bids of less than £25 million.
JORGINHO IS MAN UTD'S CARRICK REPLACEMENT
Manchester United are tracking Napoli midfielder Jorginho as they search for a replacement for Michael Carrick, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Jose Mourinho commented on Friday that the Red Devils would be looking for a midfielder to step into the Englishman's shoes in the summer, with the 36-year-old nearing the end of his career.
And the United boss is apparently an admirer of Jorginho, with the club having also scouted Dortmund pair Julian Weigl and Christian Pulisic.
WEST HAM PREPARE SHOCK SHELVEY MOVE
West Ham are ready to bolster their midfield options by making a move for Newcastle man Jonjo Shelvey, according to the Daily Mirror.
Manager David Moyes is planning to make a bid in the January transfer window as he looks to add passing ability and aggression in the centre of the pitch to his Hammers side.
LIVERPOOL WIN RACE FOR GORETZKA
Liverpool have seen off interest from rival Premier League clubs to seal a deal for Schalke star Leon Goretzka, according to the Sun via Bild.
Jurgen Klopp's side have beaten the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham to the Germany international, who will reportedly join them on a free transfer next summer.
INTER MONITORING MKHITARYAN
Inter are keeping a close eye on developments around Henrikh Mkhitaryan's situation at Manchester United with a view to potentially signing the Armenian, according to Sky in Italy .
The former Dortmund star has fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford in recent months, with Inter seemingly weighing up whether to make a bid for the winger.
The Serie A title hopefuls are also interested in Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu and PSG midfielder Javier Pastore as they look to improve their squad in the January window.
BARCA & REAL IN BLIND RACE
Manchester United outcast Daley Blind is a January transfer target for La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, according to the Daily Express .
The Dutch utility defender has fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho and Barca reportedly see him as an option to fill the void left by Javier Mascherano's imminent exit to Hebei China Fortune.
Meanwhile, the Blancos also purportedly see Blind as a potential bargain who could play alongside Sergio Ramos in the centre of defence.
