Just one stand remaining! Watch the time lapse of the Calderon demolition

A time lapse has been released that chronicles the demolition of the Estadio Vicente Calderon, the old Atletico Madrid stadium that has been knocked down little by little over the past few months.

The three stands that don't cover the motorway have been knocked down already, leaving just the main stand that couldn't be taken down yet since it goes over the M-30 road.

The end of the video from SeguimientoDeObras.com shows how the motorway will be diverted through the area where the pitch used to be, so that the remaining stand can be demolished.

That will happen from November 8, while the demolition of the main stand will start on November 15.

This work will take three months.
