Juventus did make an offer to Pep Guardiola worth €20m per year, but he turned it down, according to Eurosport.
According to Eurosport, Juve did indeed make an offer to Manchester City manager Guardiola worth €20m per year, a story that had already appeared in Tuttosport several weeks ago.
However, unlike the claims that continue to suggest he signed a pre-contract agreement or had given them any kind of guarantee, this source insists Guardiola rejected it immediately.
The Bianconeri turned to Sarri instead and Chelsea had been expected to release him after a gentlemen’s agreement as soon as they found a replacement.

He’s never been in a situation like the one he finds himself in at City. He’s basically got full autonomy over footballing decisions at the club and he’s working with some of his best friends. Maybe the reason he couldn’t motivate players at Barcelona because they had won every trophy with him? Juve is at best a sideways move for Pep. At least in England he can get a title challenge. The league is done the minute Juve kick off. It’d be the exact same situation as Bayern.

I'm a Spurs fan and I wouldn't want Pep to leave. He's great for the league. The stronger the British clubs, the better.

Still, think Pep would do City the courtesy of telling the club he was leaving. Unless he’s pulled a 180 since Friday and decided to leave, City would have very likely been looking for a replacement. Feel like Sam Lee would have heard about that by now.

Pep wouldn't just give up what he has at Manchester City all because Juventus wanted an allegri replacement. He is completely happy where he is so there isn't any issue with the club that would have made him leave. City loves pep and pep loves city.

Guardiola will never coach Ronaldo. Because Ronaldo will never fit the scheme Guardiola plays and he would never want two power houses in his team. There’s only one power house Guardiola’s team and that is Guardiola himself. So even if he would have taken the offer, he would have sold Ronaldo first.
