According to Sky Sport Italia, Massimiliano Allegri’s future at Juventus is not uncertain, but the club could change part of his coaching staff in 2022-23.
The Old Lady has been eliminated in the Champions League Round of 16 for the third successive season and is currently seven points behind Serie A leaders Milan.
Although the coach has insisted that the Bianconeri’s season has not been disastrous, the club could change part of his coaching staff at the end of the campaign. According to Sky Sport Italia, club directors are considering some changes after their Champions League elimination at the hands of Villarreal, but Allegri’s position is not under scrutiny.
The Italian tactician signed a four-year deal worth €9m per season in the summer, returning to the Allianz Stadium two years after his sacking.
Juventus are still in the race to win the Coppa Italia after beating Fiorentina 1-0 at the Artemio Franchi in the first leg of the semi-finals. Milan and Inter bosses Stefano Pioli and Simone Inzaghi still consider the Bianconeri candidates for the Scudetto, but Allegri has repeatedly said that his team can’t win the title this term.
