Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli has hit out at the media as he closes his Instagram account.
Fagioli has been banned from playing for seven months over illegal betting on matches.
Before closing his Instagram account today he made one final post stating: "I thought I would start by apologising not only to the Juventus fans, but to all the fans in the world of football and sport for the naive mistake I made.
"Instead no, I'm forced to leave with the disgust that newspapers and people write about me, just to put me in a bad light with a thousand falsehoods...
"Or perhaps better yet, to gain two more views. I'll speak soon."
