Juventus want Man Utd double deal as they muscle in on Marcus Rashford transfer

Marcus Rashford is expected to leave Manchester United during the summer transfer window and despite being heavily linked to Barcelona, the forward could have a new exit route amid interest from Juventus

Juventus are looking to sign Marcus Rashford and end his Manchester United exile. Rashford, 27, has been told to stay away from United's first-team squad during pre-season along with four other outcasts at Old Trafford.

The England international, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia have all been ordered to train after 5pm once rest of Red Devils' squad have already left Carrington. Ruben Amorim doesn't see a future for any of the players, who United are actively trying to sell.

Barcelona have long been the favourites to sign Rashford after Aston Villa decided not to take up their £40million option to buy at the end of his loan spell. But the La Liga champions are yet to make a move, despite Rashford's brother and agent, Dwaine Maynard, being spotted meeting Barca sporting director Deco in Catalunya last month.

That's left the door open for Juventus, who Sky Sport Italia report are exploring the conditions of a deal. Like United, Juve want to reshape their attack this summer and have made strikers Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik available for transfer as well as winger Timothy Weah.

Rashford isn't the only United player who the Serie A giants have been linked with either. Juventus have been in talks over a move for Sancho, who also spent last season out on loan, winning the Conference League with Chelsea.

It's been reported that Sancho has agreed personal terms with Juve and is prepared to wait in order to seal a move to Turin. The 25-year-old could try and convince Rashford to join him at Juventus, although his ideal destination is Barcelona.

Rashford has even spoken publicly of his desire to play for Hansi Flick's side, who are yet to formally approach United. Barca's priority is Luis Diaz, who Liverpool want to keep and showed their resolve by rejecting a £58.6m bid from Bayern Munich earlier this week.

While on holiday in Marbella last month, Rashford issued a thinly-veiled come-get-me plea to Barca. The forward was asked by Spanish YouTube channel XBuyer whether he wants to play with Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal in the future.

"Yeah, sure. Everybody in the world wants to play with the best," Rashford replied. "So hopefully, we'll see."

He added: "Spain is nice, it's not too far from home. If I'm training over a long period, my family can come for a few days, it's a nice location and good weather."
