Leonardo Bonucci and Moise Kean have trained together for the first time since the Juventus defender suggested his team-mate was partly to blame for inciting the racist abuse he was subjected to in Tuesday's win over Cagliari.

Kean celebrated scoring Juve's second goal in the 2-0 victory by spreading his arms when facing the Cagliari fans, having already been subjected to taunts.

Bonucci said after the match that Kean 'could have done it differently' and 'the blame is 50-50', prompting criticism from Raheem Sterling on Instagram.

The pair were pictured at Juventus training on Thursday as attention turned to their Saturday afternoon clash with AC Milan in Serie A.

Bonucci has since moved to clarify his comments about Kean in a statement on Instagram following Tuesday's match.

He wrote: 'After 24 hours I want to clarify my feelings. I was interviewed right at the end of the game, and my words have been clearly misunderstood, probably because I was too hasty in the way I expressed my thoughts.

'Hours and years wouldn't be enough to talk about this topic. I firmly condemn all forms of racism and discrimination. The abuses are not acceptable at all and this must not be misunderstood.'

Kean himself took to Instagram to describe his celebration as 'the best way to respond to racism'.

Juventus players, led by captain Giorgio Chiellini, protested to referee Piero Giacomelli, who was also in conversations with both managers.
