Toni Kroos has already made his opinion clear about those players who succumb to Arab money by describing the signing of Gabri Veiga by Al Ahli as "shameful". Now, the Real Madrid midfielder has once again harshly criticized the majority of players who went to the Saudi Arabian league. “It has been said that ambitious football is played there, but everything revolves around money. "That's when it starts to be difficult for the football we all know and love," added Kroos, criticizing in particular the moment chosen by some players to leave: "everyone has to make that decision for themselves, as Cristiano Ronaldo, who decided to do it towards the end of his career. But it becomes very difficult when players, who are in the middle of their career and have the quality to play for the best clubs in Europe, decide to make those changes."

Kroos, for his part, prefers to remain loyal to Real Madrid, a club for which he is playing his tenth season in total. “It is a special number for me, especially because I haven't been playing anywhere for nine years, but in a very special club. At Real Madrid you have to always be at your best and perform at your best,” concluded the German.
