Lionel Messi's swipe at the Barcelona board has made shockwaves across the world.
The Argentine hit out at the club's directors for pressuring the players into taking a pay cut when they were going to do it anyway.
L'Equipe have taken this and run with it, painting Messi as Che Guevara - a key figure behind the Cuban Revolution - on their frontpage for Tuesday.
"Lionel Messi, the Che of Barca," their headline reads.

As much as I love Messi he is not even close to Comrade Che...That man sacrificed his whole life, his bright carrer as a Doctor and his family to fight for exploited, tortured, marginalised proletariats of South America and against the Inhumane imperialism of Moribund Capitalist countries like USA... He was the person who wanted to bring the true revolution through guerilla warfare in entire South America, Africa and 3rd World Countries of Asia... They have killed Che, but they couldn't kill his ideas... Long live Che...Long live Marxism-Leninism Hasta Simpere Commandante...
