Lazio veteran Pedro backing move for ex-Chelsea teammate Hudson-Odoi

Lazio veteran Pedro is backing a move for former Chelsea teammate Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Lazio are battling Fulham for the winger.

Pedro said: “Hudson-Odoi is a strong player, he can play on the right or left, so it would be great news if he arrived here."

The veteran, who turns 36 this week, has penned a new 12 month deal and said: “I saw we have improved so much, especially in terms of mentality, and important players will arrive.

“I am ready to bring my experience both on the field and into the locker room. The Champions League is a difficult tournament and a reward for all the good work we did last season.

"I would love to face Barcelona in the group, even if it is always tough against them, but it would be special to play at Camp Nou again."
